Royal decoration for artistic director Dion Ritten

A great honour for our artistic director Dion Ritten. On Sunday march 11th he got a royal decoration: ‘Knight in the order of Oranje Nassau’, which is named after the Dutch royal family. King William-Alexander honoured Dion Ritten with this high decoration because of all his initiatives in the musical fields, including the founding of our choral festival CantaRode. But Dion is also conductor of several choirs. He got the decoration at the celebration of his 25th anniversary as conductor of one of his choirs. On behalf of the board and all the volunteers of CantaRode we say: congratulations!
